Our mission is to Reach, Equip, Activate & Liberate believers so together, we can walk in the fullness of who God has created.
We believe that true Biblical transformation happens in community. We journey alongside men and women from—new believers to seasoned elders—equipping them to walk boldly in purpose and grow in Christ through God’s Word.
Our Source
This verse states that all Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
But the advocate, Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26
What Does REAL stand for?
REAL Discipleship isn’t just a name—it’s the blueprint for our approach to spiritual formation.
Each letter represents a core pillar of our ministry philosophy.
Through these four pillars, we create pathways for believers to experience the fullness of what it means to follow Jesus authentically—not just in word, but in transformed lives that impact others.
Reach
Reach – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20) We intentionally pursue the lost and overlooked, extending Christ’s invitation to all who hunger for truth and meaning, regardless of their background or past.
Equip
“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:11-13) We provide believers with practical tools, biblical knowledge, accountability relationships, and spiritual training needed to mature in their faith and fulfill their calling.
Activate
“So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, ‘You have faith and I have works.’ Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” (James 2:17-18) We stir up and activate the spiritual gifts within each believer—calling out purpose, passion, and power to serve the Kingdom boldly. Faith must move beyond intellectual agreement to transformative action.
Liberate
“So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, ‘If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free… So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'” (John 8:31-32, 36) We help break spiritual chains—restoring freedom from bondage, establishing secure identity in Christ, and cultivating wholeness in every area of life. True discipleship leads to profound liberation.

Our Founders
Will and Kelly Garcia founded REAL Discipleship out of their deep conviction that authentic Christian mentorship transforms lives. Their ministry—built on Relationship-centered, Equipping believers, Authentic community, and Life-changing truth—goes beyond biblical knowledge to walking alongside others as they discover freedom in Christ.
Married and raising a blended family of 5 children and recently welcoming to the world a grandbaby, their Tampa home serves as a gathering place for believers seeking community and growth. They’ve created spaces where transparent relationships form, believing discipleship flourishes when people can be vulnerable about their journeys.
Their complementary gifts allow them to minister to diverse groups, as they are united by their commitment to Scripture as the foundation for lasting transformation through the Holy Spirit’s power, peace and comfort.
Together, Will and Kelly are raising up believers who don’t just know Jesus but experience the full freedom that comes from following Him wholeheartedly.
Senior Leader: Will Garcia
William Garcia has dedicated himself to discipling males across all life stages. As a coach, mentor, and teacher, he models authentic Christian manhood by blending strength with vulnerability in a culture of confused masculinity.
His expertise in addiction recovery combines professional training with personal conviction that Christ offers supernatural deliverance from habitual sin. Will excels at building communities where men speak honestly without judgment, challenging them beyond surface Christianity to become disciples who multiply their impact by investing in others.
Co- Leader: Kelly Garcia
Kelly Garcia blends academic excellence with spiritual sensitivity as an Ordained Minister, Christian Counselor, Discipleship Coach, and Teacher. With a Master’s in Human Services Counseling (Christian Ministries) from Liberty University, plus degrees in Business Management and Psychology, she brings a holistic approach to REAL Discipleship while pursuing her Doctorate in Christian Counseling.
Kelly’s ministry is distinguished by her compassionate yet courageous approach to healing and deliverance. Whether counseling individuals, teaching online, or leading retreats, she creates safe spaces for confronting wounds while guiding people toward Christ’s restorative power—helping them move from knowing about God to experiencing His transformative presence.
